Dimitris was born on 5 April 2000. He is one of the top Greece sailors with many sporting achievements (2020 Laser STD Class 17th  position at the European Championship and the Open European Trophy, 2019 Laser STD Class – bronze medal at the European Championship Laser Std U21, 2018 Laser STD Class Gold medal at the U19 World Championship, Gold medal at the Balcan Championship)
